We have done tastings in large group settings, but, we have learned that the ideal size of an in-home tasting is around 8 people. This size allows for a true appreciation of the cheese and beverage pairings and provides the best interactions as each member of the group can share their personal cheese experience.
Please get in touch with us if you want to discuss creative ways to bring cheese into your larger events. A tutored tasting might not be the best fit, but there are other creative ways to share the love of cheese within a larger event.
Yes, cured meats, fruit, nuts and other charcurterie items will be included. The tasting can serve as a light meal. We source as much as possible from local food producers. We accommodate food allergies.
Alcoholic beverages- of course, many cheeses are divine with wine but cheese is also amazing paired with beers, ciders and spirits. Due to liquor licensing regulations we can't provide the alcohol, but, we do provide you with a shopping list. This is where you can save money and have some fun choosing your favourite beverages. We send you a list to guide you in selecting a variety of alcohols that will compliment your cheeses.
Non-alcoholic beverages - We are happy to provide you with a list of non-alcoholic beverages that are easily obtainable to pair with the cheese. Once you have chosen your cheese theme we provide you with a list of suitable beverages.
Yes, most of the time we can work with our producers to obtain enough cheese for purchase, but it varies with each producer. We always show up with our cooler full of pre-cut, 300g pieces that you can purchase after the tasting. We will also provide you and your guests with information on where to purchase cheese locally.
We will always be fully vaccinated and we will continue to work within local health regulations.
